Delivery & TAX Information

We always strive for the happiness and satisfaction of our customers. Our goods can be delivered wherever you decide and we hope that you can enjoy our products for a long time. In order for you to receive your Tunto lights in the best conditions and time delays, we have selected the following delivery partners.  

WITHING EUROPE  

We have selected GLS Parcel as our primary shipping partner due to its reliable service. When your order is ready and shipped from our workshop, you will receive a delivery confirmation by e-mail with your tracking number. Track your parcel online at any time you can also track your shipment in real-time using a Track ID, which can be found on every notification card. In many countries, GLS provides delivery information in real-time.

If you are not in when the goods are delivered, the driver will put a card through your door and they will automatically attempt a second delivery on the next business day. After the second attempt, you can pick up the package from the nearest GLS service point. If neither the parcel is picked up nor the shipping partner's customer service is informed within 15 working days, the parcel will be returned to us.

 

OUTSIDE EUROPE 

For countries outside Europe, we use UPS as a reliable shipping partner. When your order is ready and shipped from our workshop, you will receive a delivery confirmation by e-mail with your tracking number. Track your parcel online at any time.

WHEN YOUR DELIVERY  IS DELAYED OR LOST

Our delivery partners are professionals in the delivery of items and compliance with given delivery times. Nevertheless, if you have the experience that your delivery is exceptionally late or lost, contact the respective shipping partner immediately to get more information about the circumstances. WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR PARCEL DAMAGED  

Despite great care and preparation, such situations can never be completely ruled out. We regret if you have such an experience and we are committed to solve this request immediately. Please follow the steps in our Return Policy.

SHIPPING COST AND DELIVERY TIME

 

Shipment costs are communicated for every order when placing the order. Delivery dates will also be confirmed by e-mail after the order has been placed. Within Europe we offer FREE shipping. Outside Europe the shipping cost is based on weight and will be calculated and added at checkout. 

Please note: that Tunto Design Oy can not be held responsible for possible delays in the delivery of the goods caused by the shipping company. You can check the current status of your parcel at any time using the international shipment tracking tool from GLS or Fedex

TAXES AND CUSTOM FEES

 

European Union (EU) Countries

All the prices displayed on our online shop include VAT. There will be no duties or customs to be paid by you. Unlike many other web shops, we pay the local VAT for these orders. This is because we want to offer as easy shopping experience as possible for all our customers.

 

Non-EU (European Union) Countries

All non-EU (European Union) countries are shipped to on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis, which means that all product you buy in our web shop will be without taxes and duties, Only the delivery cost is added to your order. Tunto Design Oy does not determine or collect these fees. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. Tunto Design Oy is not responsible for potential import duties and local taxes and we cannot refund any orders that are returned to us due to non-payment of duty. All orders are shipped from Finland. Each product’s country of origin is indicated in the documents (non-EU orders only).

REQUEST A TAX EXEMPTION 

Please note that this transaction is only for non-EU member states. We are committed to cancel any order immediately which is completed with a tax exemption and has a delivery address in an EU country. Follow these steps as below to get a tax exemption for an order in our web shop with non-EU shipping destination:

  • Send us a mail to customerservice@tunto.com and let us know which products you would like to purchase in which version. 

  • We will send you immediately by email your personal tax exemption code tailored to your purchase, which you can enter at the checkout and the tax deducted from the purchase amount.
